We’re thrilled about something, and we want to share it with you. It is a time for gratitude to our partners and customers everywhere. It is a moment of celebration in the acknowledgment of something that makes our business truly special.
Here at Milestone Health we have always taken pride in being a largely LGBT+-owned and operated business. We have the sincere pleasure to announce to our valued partners that we have become certified as a Diverse Supplier by the CGLCC, a chamber of commerce committed to fostering networks and diversifying, uniting and empowering the near 30,000 LGBT+ owned and operated Canadian businesses.
Despite businesses like ours producing more than $22 billion dollars and employing nearly 450,000 individuals in Canada, issues regarding access to resources, partnerships and more is something we face uniquely because of our identities and livelihoods. CGLCC is invested in making the Canadian business market a space for all kinds to succeed, because Canada is made up of just that – all kinds, and our marketplace should reflect that. Discrimination and prejudice only serve to impede our country’s great strides.
